Our Product
Amplified is a key component for running Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR) in a microfluidic
chip. This device has three main components: thermocycling system, insulation system and
a locking mechanism. Alongside with Aline, Inc., we hope to merge Amplified and ADEPT into a
single device that will provide a complete platform for running PCR in a single microfluidic
chip. With our device, the user will simply load the sample onto a microfluidic chip, place the chip in our device, set temperature and time settings, and let the device run:
1. Obtain a sample (blood, human fluids, or DNA).
2. Load a microfluidic chip on device and set temperature & time settings.
3. Let PCR run.
4. Obtain results (microfluidic chip might be designed to do this part).
5. Deliver results to patient, researchers, or clinical technicians.
